I just noticed that my 25 year old sprinter got 9th in the NT race.  Now that's cool and everything, however, looking at the results, I can't help but get an impression that maybe the script screwed up on the race.  I don't suppose the Italian tactics could have been so outstanding?

Because it's the first time you find me on the big stages ;D ;D. I'm joking, I was really surprised too, I admit

When is the best day of the season to sell a good cyclist? End of season or start of season or somewhere else?
My thinking is at the end of season because some teams will be looking to fall below tax brackets...
Sometimes it is nice to list cyclist for $1 but if there aren't enough attention on TL then you can end up with a bad sale.

Start of the season for sure ; all managers are rich and bid more than they should.

As second best moments are :
# end of the season because of the reason you mentioned. But the disadvantage is that you have to pay more taxes. You have more millions because of the sale of that good cyclist.
# 15 or more races before the speciality of a good cyclist, so the buyer can send him on training camp.

Another good moment is : # selling right after he won or had a very good result, that is always a good advertisement.

I was wondering if there has been prior discussion on this forum, or if people want to express any opinions here, on the combination of stats that make a GC rider a better specialist for the Giro vs. the Tour vs. the Vuelta.

Obviously there are many similarities in the demands for GC riders in all three GTs, but the Tour, for example, seems to emphasize climbing, TT, and sprint relatively more than the other two, and to emphasize hills and cobbles less.  What are other people's thoughts?

Is there any chance to remove all Hungarian NT coaches?
They didn't call up anyone for weeks now (oh, NT coach called up 1 cyclist today :P ).

For me;

Giro :
95 Mountain
80 Hills
50 Sprint
50 TT
30/50 Cobble

Tour :
98 Mountain
60 TT
60 Sprint
60 Hills

Vuelta :
97 Mountain
+80 Hills
50 Sprint
40/50 Cobble

Of course these are only stereotypes... the funniest thing of this is that you can create your own training method and win these races with different type of grand tour riders.

Send me a message to admin@cyclingforfun.org or osca_com@hotmail.com , I will check it and if you have a solution ( as example the name of teams that can be NT). Until now nobody send me any message and it is the way to quit a NT manager. If they didn't call up any cyclist during more than 1 week I can change it but I will put by rank order, and I will prefer change them for people that want be NT.
