Very good start of the season of Averatalm with 2 stage victories !
In the Tour Down Under he has fierce competition of defending champion Kalarratas ( 2nd in stage 1 ).
In 2017 he won this tour and had the best season result of all CFF participants with his 2nd place WCS overall ranking in the Tour Down Under.

Actually 3 out of 3 for Averatalm!! Leading overall at Tropicale indeed ;). It would be nice to repeat the achieve of last year's TDU but seems unlikely if Averatalm's streak continues  ;D

Yes, very impressive of Averatalm ; at the moment he is leading the WCS overall ranking in La Tropicale, 6 points ahead of the nr2 !  8)
It think* it would be the first time ever that a CFF participant wins a tour or race in the WCS overall ranking.
(* = I'm not 100% sure, perhaps in 2016 someone won, but I cannot remember that so most unlikely)

Jones (AUS) wins stage 2.
CFF League stage 2 winner = Averatalm   8)

Thanks. Seems like my little research paid off. Hopefully I can make it till the end, bringing victory to cff :).

Congrats Kalarratas, but your only ahead with 2 points, so lets see what the next days bring. Might be a close one.

Thanks Atalm!!! I hope it will be a close call indeed...we shall see anyway how it ends up and also hoping you'll finally edge it overall at Tropicale too  ;)

Nocentini (ITA) wins stage 3.
CFF League stage 3 winner = Averatalm   8)
His 3rd stage victory in the CFF League of this tour, and he is still leading the WCS overall ranking of La Tropicale, 16 points ahead.

Viviani wins stage 3.
CFF League stage 3 winner = Kalarratas  8)
Averatalm again second, and Kalarratas increased his lead in the CFF League, now 50 points ahead.

Areruya (Rwanda) wins stage 4.
CFF League stage 4 winner = Kalarratas   8)
Averatalm was 2nd in the CFF League and still leading the GC there, but dropped to place 4 in the WCS overall ranking of La Tropicale:'(
And of course everyone knows that in La Tropicale the CFF League mountain jersey is the most important price:))

Sagan wins stage 4.
CFF League stage 4 winner = Euroscalt   8)
Kalarratas is still the GC leader with 2 more stages to go. The next one, the stage to Willunga Hill, will be decisive for the cyclists.

Seems like I picked the wrong Rwanda-rider. Areruya might cost me the victory :(.

Stage 5 of La Tropicale is still not updated in WCS.
A very good result of Averatalm in this stage, I suspect.

Jones (AUS) wins stage 5.

CFF League stage 5 winner = Averatalm   8)
2 more stages to go.

Porte wins stage 5 and in the picture he is attacking on Willunga Hill.

The top 10 GC after stage 5 with a surprising GC leader, nobody picked him :

CFF League stage 5 winner = oldmen   8)
The new GC leader is again Averatalm, 1 more stage to go, can Kalarattas get a revanche in the final stage and win this tour ?

And don't forget :
1 day and 8 hours left to join or make changes.
X = bronx and AJFactoryCycling.

Great victory of Richie Porte.
yep, true !
And one of your favorite cyclists, the just 20yo Solomon, almost won stage 6 of La Tropicale ( he lost in a sprint-a-deux and was 2nd ).

Nocentini (ITA) wins stage 6.
Areruya (Rwanda) is still the GC leader with 1 more stage to go, but that is a flat one, so most likely he will win this tour.

CFF League stage 6 winner = oldmen   8)
Averatalm is the GC leader with a very big lead.
And in this stage I lost the mountain jersey to Shalgo, although he has the same amount of mountain-points.
Probably because he (5th) is ranked higher in the GC than me (7th).
