Title: CALENDAR
Post by: Thorin on April 25, 2012, 01:31:39 pm
1. The calendar is the same every season. You can plan your season in advance.

2.  However, the climate conditions change every season.

3. The World Championsips (Road and TT) are the same every season. (All the teams can compete, we are not talking about international races).

4. The stars indicate the category of the races and tours.

(note: I've deleted my previous message to use this post for informational purposes)

Season makeup and possible points for finishing 1st in every race are as follows.

3 Grand tours = 30 races = 9000 stage points + 4500 gc points = 13500 points
7 Minor tours = 35 races = 5250 stage points + 3500 gc points = 8750 points
53 Other races = 11750 points (if my quick adding up is correct)

Other races consists of the following (if my quick adding up is correct).

2 World Championship races = 1800 points
10 Category A races = 4500 points
11 Category B races = 2200 points
30 Category C or D races = 3250 points

I take it with a Category D race, only D division players can join?
And with a Category C race, a D division player would compete against C division players?

No. The higher the Category the more money and points are available for the first 30 riders

Thx, I understand it now.

Category is how important the race is inside your division, so a Category D race isn't going to earn you much.

hello everybody,

I don't know how to give my strategy for more than the next race.

I would like to give my strategy by advance in the case I have no access to internet for example during vacation, Week End, etc...

Is it possible?
