Australian drafts to strengthen NT
« on: December 17, 2014, 09:14:08 am »
Hi All Ausie Managers
How do you feel of me posting a list of drafts like they did in the Netherlands forum:
http://www.cyclingforfun.org/smf/index.php/topic,1231.msg189509.html#msg189509

I have 5 Mountain rider, 1 Mountain-Hiller, 1 TT Mountain, 2 TT Flat riders and 1 sprinter.
I am following Hillers, so dont have stars on above riders, but they are all 1st or 2nd in a race.

Option 1 : I post list of all riders with their IDs
Option 2: I post list without IDs and then managers can PM me which rider they want, I give them that rider and "remove" him from the list. If one of the riders in the list is already another managers top draft pick, then they can PM me, and I will remove it from the list.

If you take the "remove from list" option, you should only remove if they're going to have him as their no1 pick.

Hi, yes that is the idea, so when someone ask for a rider, they must tell me if it will be their top pick or not.

We can do an Australian database, I will contribute whatever way you choose to do it ;)

Thanks for the enthusiasme :) but I am too lazy to manage/admin an online excel google doc.
But it is a good idea, google docs also gets blocked from work  :-\

I also want to prevent "competition" for the same rider when everybody see how good his info is.

Hi All
Please message me if you want the link to any of the above riders, and indicate if it will be your top pick or not.
I will only remove people in the above list when someone indicates it is a top pick of theirs.

Everyone is welcome , from all nationalities, first come, first served ;)

If anyone wondered what happened to Bud Crickton, I found out in my news section:

Bud Crickton
Charlyman
1350000

But he doesn't exist, so perhaps he wasn't that good :-/

Hi, I have pulled this guy
Do you think he is worth keeping/selling?
His technical and Flat is very low, but I will be training tech 1-2 season and 2-3 season of flat in the future.
For now, it seems like I have 2 season of hill training planned ahead.

Don Bell   Age : 19   Wage : 803
Stamina : 49   Sprint : 61   Climbing : 38
Flat : 13   Cobblestone : 14    Technique : 7
Downhill : 58   Hills : 66   Aggressiveness : 72
Time Trial : 17   Teamwork : 8   Experience : 0
Price :   Days left :   Stages raced : 0

If you have enough place keep him ib the team, if not put ha m for sale I m also training hills :). In a future he will be inteesting, as young rider is just a mdium-low rider i would say

His aggression will be useful later on.  He won't be the no1 cyclist to base your team on, but if you have space & the training suits, keep him, and even if you sell him later on, he should be worth good money.
