And sorry about the Danish, WiC, my fault, lol.
Long time ago I paid too much for Danish cyclist Oskar Odderskov (edit, he finished as 8th = 140 points, 100 too many^^), back then I couldnt sell him for a few millions less so he had to stay in my team and I had to made an allround-TT-specialist out of him with speciality the mountain-TT, he was training long time 100% TT in the training scedule of the future world champion time trial, Gumersindo Verde.
Good luck in the last NT race ! Hopefully Australia will be number 1 again and become World Champion !  8)

Stage 10, The Grand Final

In the final stage of the season, we have a lot to race for. After leading almost the entire season, the Danish team has surpassed us last week after the Mountain Time Trial. A win by Cody Goodman wasn't enough to stop the Danes. The margin is 100 points, so anything is still possible. I don't think there is a real contender left for the top spot, as the Americans trail by almost 600 points.

On top of that, the race in the individual ranking is something to race for as well. Earl Gatson is one of the race favourites, after winning the first cobble-hill race earlier this season. When he can win the second one, he will go past Christopher Gregersen. Of course, from Denmark.

Like last sunday and more races before, it seems that Australia has got the race favourite, and Denmark has the stronger, wider selection. In the first cobb-hill race, Denmarkt was able to score more points than we did, because of a really good team effort.

May the best team and cyclist win tomorrow. Good luck TeamSolex! Game on!

The stage profile:

The team selection:
Phil Lee - Ciripolen
Ian Douglas - RaboRuben
Daley Green - Porteņos
Zack Frances - Cachuflines
Kieran Donaldson - STR0NK3R
Earl Gatson - STR0NK3R
Bob Winger - WinterIsComing
Norman Sampson - WinterIsComing
Walter Reid - Sacido

Goal 1: To score more than 105 points more than Denmark and win the International Country Ranking
Goal 2: Win the race with Earl Gatson and win the International Individual Ranking

---

Disclaimer: Whatever the result will be, Australia will win anyway, cause Denmark is a part of Australia nowadays. Here's the proof  :)

Funny thing is, it's probably larger than the other Denmark too.

Very good race, WiC, 90 points won on the Danish. Unfortunatly not enough ; just 10 points short, very very close.
Congratz to Denmark / TeamSolex.

Sour grapes...  :(

At the end of the season, we come just 10 points short to win the International Championship for the first time in Australia's history.
We were trailing by 100 before the last race and we gained 90 on the Danish team, but that was not enough.

Gatson finished 6th, so he didn't win enough points, as he ends up 3rd in the Individual ranking, alongside fellow countryman Angel Friess, who also won a race this season.

Congratulations to Solex and the Danish team for the win and a good fight along the season. Australia will be back next season, and with a vengeance.  8)

Now, let's all get drunk.  :)
