Preview race 01, a short hillstage.

No fancy pictures tonight, as I am running purely on a mobile device. As always, the elite cyclists kick off with a hill race. Last season, Kieran Donaldson achieved a 4th place. This time, we hope to be on the podium, but of course the competition is close.

Good luck everyone. Let the season begin!  :)

Did Gatson get vultured a victory in the cobble-hill race this season. There is a lot of flat cobblestone on the program this season  :o

Thanks Solex, good luck to you too :)

The calendar was a bit more friendly for us indeed last season, but we will try and hang in there  ;)

Devin Emme will most likely be team captain tonight, yes. Still Have to look into tactics, though.

Preview Race 02, Sestriere (Piemonte, Italy)

Race 2 brings us to the well-known Italian alpinian village Sestriere. Cyclists start with a flat section, but from section 2, it's climbing and descending all the way to the finish. A challenging stage for all of CFF-nations, for sure.

In past seasons, Marc Overall was our go-to-guy in the mountains, but he's getting older and older. At 35 years old, he still is almost our best guy for this stage. Devin Emme however, is slightly better, in my opnion, and he deserves to be the team leader today. Hopefully, he can prove me right ;)

First stage got us a victory, before the Danish. Tonight, Denmark might be top favourites with Gregersen. I hope we will be able to score enough points to keep us first.  :)

Yes, Gregersen I think is the favorite as GV:
probably he has about 4 GV points more than Emme ;D

I know, it's not fair...  :'(

Can't you fire him now and revive him in 20 minutes or so?  :P

Emme 13th, Overall 16th. Not a great result, but still we are able to get 150 points on the board.

Emme got cut in the first flat section, so he was trailing the whole race. Too bad, I hoped his GV was good enough to keep him up front without spending precious energy.
