8th place for Stewart Hamsten, which is where he stands at this moment, I think. I see we used the exact same tactics as the Danes, who were 2nd with Eriksen. We will fight until the end, but it will be hard enough to defend our 2nd place in country rankings, I think.

I'm very busy these weeks. Unfortunately no time for good previews and reviews, but of course I will select and set tactics.

Next season, I think it's better to have someone else take the drivers seat and lead Australia's elite cyclists to glory.

Yeap, it was the best we could do this season. Australia has some really great cyclists, but we lack the numbers in quantity to really scare the Danes. Proud to be on the podium though, for the 3rd straight season.  :)

Congrats to Solex (Denmark) with another win, and Reekse (Netherlands) with the bronze medal and the individual win with VanNistelrooy, who also won the last stage. Glad we were able to finish in front of the Dutch again though.  ;D

Hopefully, someone signs up and takes over the job as head coach.  8)

You were too quick for me to edit the post. ;D

Poor Reekse, I misread the individual ranking.

Thanks and congratulations to you for the good season with 3 stage wins :)

If the next season you aren't the coach for us it will be more easier :P
...but if the fox is coming it will be more difficult ;D

Still no candidate for the elite team next season...!?

Next season, a new head coach will have some quality riders under his belt, and if the calendar is nice for us, we will have another shot at a podiun place. Perfect time to step up!  :)

If noone is candidate, I will most likely be automatically selected, I guess, as I will win Australian title this season and/or I was NT coach this season?

:)) great picture^^
I don t have much time next few months/next season.
But next season my Australian debute in 1A will be a training-season, so I can do the U23 again (aside).
When there is another U23 candidate I probably will withdraw, but that is not the case yet.
If I will be the elite coach, I want to take it seriously and want to have more time for it. For now I practice my NT "skills" on the U23, so I will get better at it and if I do the elite in the future, Norway has no chance versus the improved fox-taxtics^^  ;D
( tempting though, the elite of Australia have some great cyclists )

Unfortunately, no candidates for NT.

Because it is last day of the season I reapplied, only to prevent that we will get steerless or that some unknown manager applies and goes inactive after a few weeks, just like in the U23 last season when Vos had to step up to fill in the void.

Unfortunately I have my legal case dragging on, so I won't be available for probably at least 2 seasons.

Hope everything works out well for you.  :)

I will be able to manage the NT, that is no problem. I just cannot guarantee much activity on the forum at the level I'd like.
