Stage 6 turned out to be a great race, despite not being the best mountain profile (possibly my bias showing). Can't believe the other teams allowed Chaves into the breakaway.

Normally races or tours are open to join many days in advance.
This one is at the last moment open to join :
4 HOURS and 10 minutes left to join.
Because of this very late moment to open this tour, so far just 5 CFF participants,so a good opportunity to win a tour in 2018 ! Good luck  :)

You r welcome Kalarratas, and indeed, I had to write your name too many times in this update :))

And your Giro is even more "impressive" as mine.
I really suck in the big tours.
And this is what I posted right after the prologue in Jerusalem^^ :
I did this last minute change ; Lopez for Yates.
In fact, I wanted to pick them both. Yates is just picked 5 times.
And I already regret this because when I do a last minute change it always turns out badly, and now Yates  will ride an awesome Giro. :))
Of course  ;D

Not annoying to your competition, because in every race you are the top favorite (see season trophies overview)  ;)

And here is another chance for you to become 2nd or 3rd,
so that the competition can close the huge gap in victories you achieved this season.  8) Next tour =
  1 HOUR and 55 minutes left to join. ( X = Edu5 )

Dennis won stage 16, the time trial. Stage 17 winner is Viviani, his fourth stage victory in this Giro.

CFF League :
stage 16 winner is also here Australian  :) = Aurora Australis   8)
stage 17 winner, and this time not a 2nd or 3rd place, but one of the many 1st places of him this season  :) = Averatalm   8)

Foeke is still leading the GC with 3 mountain stages and one sprint stage to go.
But it is very close in the GC, Aurora Australis just 20 points behind.
BrotasTeam is also very close and already won 5 stages this Giro, 2 in the mountains, 2 "hills"stages and the prologue.
However, Foeke won also a lot of stages (4x) ; 1 mountain-, 2 "hills"- and 1 sprint stage.
And although the number 4 of the GC, Averatalm, is a little further behind in the GC, this season it is not wise to underestimate "the Eddy Merckx of Norway" and perhaps he will win the Giro.

CFF League General Classification :

Raim wins stage 4. And Lebas wins stage 5, he is the GC leader with 3 more stages to go.

CFF League :
stage 4 winner = Kalarratas   8)
stage 5 winner and congratz to his 1st victory this season (he joined the CFF League recently) = Grunn   8)
Kalarratas is still the GC leader.

Greipel wins stage 1.
CFF League stage 1 winner ( it is clear he is in superform this period, or perhaps we should give him an extra doping control  ;D ) = Kalarratas   8)

What, I actually won a stage??  Atalm was actually looking at my name when complaining about being 2nd or 3rd every stage etc (not that it's anything to sneeze at).

The peleton in stage 18

Different battles in this great stage ! Schachmann won this stage.
GC battle : In the space of less than two kilometres, Yates conceded 28 seconds to Dumoulin to see his advantage over the defending champion cut to just 28 seconds with three stages remaining.

CFF League stage 18 winner = GC leader Foeke   8)

Garcia wins stage 6 and takes the lead in the GC.
CFF League stage 6 winner = Averatalm   8)
Kalarratas is still the GC leader.

Greipel wins also stage 2.
CFF League stage 2 winner = Kalarratas   8)
Kalarratas is also in this little tour the GC leader.

CFF League stage 19 winner = Txonys   8)
Foeke is still the GC leader with 2 more stages to go (and the extra questions).

Bole wins stage 6.
CFF League stage 7 winner = Averatalm   8)
Kalarratas is still the GC leader, just 22 points ahead of Averatalm and 1 more stage to go.

Laporte wins stage 3 the time trial, and he takes the lead in the GC.
CFF League stage 3 winner = pizzaboys   8)
Kalarratas is still the GC leader with 2 more stages to go.

Upcoming tours :
4 days and 6 hours left to join.
7 days and 23 hours left to join.
