Great start for me in these three races. Especially Oman, may I bring victory home this time? Hopefully!

Halfway the Tour of Oman it is looking very good for you ;
still 1st in the WCS GC with a gap of 60 points towards the nr2, that is a lot.
Also you are 1st in the WCS ranking of the sprint jersey, but of course this is by far not as important as winning the WCS GC and beating 323 (!) other participants. Good luck Averatalm !  :)

General info : This season the best tour of a CFF participant in the WCS GC was achieved by oldmen ; 6th in the Vuelta a San Juan.

Also here a SKY victory ; Kwiatkowski wins stage 2.

In the picture the break away group in stage 4.

Tim Wellens (Lotto Soudal) used his Classics skills to win the uphill, cobbled finish at Alcalá de los Gazules Saturday at Ruta del Sol, surging away from Mikel Landa (Movistar) to win the stage and gaining enough time on Wout Poels (Team Sky) to also take the overall race lead.

The break of the day was caught as the gradient kicked up at 19 per cent and then Landa and Wellens took control. They opened a gap on the narrow lane and then Wellens kicked away on the final section to win by five seconds. Jakob Fuglsang (Astana) was third at 12 seconds, with Poels at 13 seconds.
Wellens took the leader's red jersey and now leads Landa by seven seconds, with Poels slipping to third at 11 seconds.

The final overall winner will be decided in Sunday's 14.2km individual time trial on a loop near Barbate.
Chris Froome suffered a late puncture and lost any chance of overall success in his first race since his salbutamol case emerged.

CFF League stage 4 winner = Txonys   8)
Txonys was and is the GC leader.

Groenewegen wins stage 4.

CFF League stage 4 winner = Kalarratas   8)
AJFactoryCycling is the new GC leader with one more stage to go.

Hivert wins stage 1.

CFF League stage 1 winner ánd WCS stage 1 winner = Averatalm   8)
This tour has just 2 stages, so also here there is a change of a historical and unique WCS victory of Averatalm.
The number 2 in the WCS GC has just 1 point less, so he has way more change in the Tour of Oman. There the final stage will finish in about 5 minutes. Exciting !
