DRAFT - PROMOTIONS
« on: April 25, 2012, 10:38:38 am »
1. In the draft, all the cyclists donít compete every day.

2. The cyclists compete without any bonuses. Climate bonuses donít have any influence.

3. All the stages change every day randomly.

4. One cyclist can compete in his terrain, but also he can compete in other kind of stages.

5. Past results are not visible. You have to control the results every day.

6. There are about 8.000 cyclists and 1.500 compete every day.

7. Each manager can sign only one cyclist per round of draft. You can follow 5 riders and you can make 5 bids, however you will be able to sign only one cyclist.

8. You can see an approximation of the skills of the cyclists you are following.

9. Itís not possible to search cyclists by name, soÖ WRITE THEIR IDíS!

10. 1 star -> 0-20% / 2 stars -> 20-40%, 3 stars -> 40-60%, 4 stars -> 60-80%.

11. Cyclists are erased at the end of the draft. 8.000 new cyclists are created in each draft. The ones who donít get a team will disappear.

12. The signings are made after the updates of the following stages 32,65,92 and at the end of the season.

13. If you sign a cyclist on the last round of the draft, he will be 19 years old next season (So pay attention, is the best round to get a good cyclist).

14. The maximum wage is 860.

15. All the skills can have hide decimals.  For example, you can see 60 in hills, but this skill can go from 60,00 to 60,99. (Draft cyclists, promoted riders and the ones from the international scout)

16. You can promote two cyclists per day. Always one after each post-race update. From 20:00 to  5:00 and from  6:00 to 19:00.

Can you make this info more clearer? '12. The signings are made after the updates of the following stages 32,65,92 and at the end of the season.'

Every Draft we see the same questions: what goes first: draft? transfers? Scout?

I always say the draft process is the last.

1st is as every night, scout first .

Final order scout, transfers, draft.

I thought the draft will take place at 1 am tomorrow morning, the same time the other drafts take place.
But seems like the second draft of the season is the only draft where it will draft at a different time.

I did not make my bids, as I waited for more info on my favorites ( comes out 1 am this morning).
Then the draft process took place at 7am before I had time to process the last info.

This is because this draft falls after a odd number of races, unlike the other drafts.
I will remember this for future but unfortunately did not get any drafts this round :(

This was my first draft, but I tried to make sure I put in some minimal bids at least once I determined a few guys I wanted, in case I didn't get more significant bids done in time.

Its usually the best way to do it yes. That way you have at least some bids running. Especially if the draft is tomorrow and you wanted to refine your bids. At least put some in already. There are all sorts of things that can happen. Not to say that the time is a bit strange when usually the transfers and all is done at night.
