Final selection for tomorrow

CAPTAIN
1░   Wendell Bass    20   61,75   U21AMERICA

FREE ROLES
2░   Ben Fevola    20   61,63   U21AMERICA WEATHER
3░   Mark Abolins    20   61,08   U21AMERICA
4░   Joel Gailes    20   60,52   DanishCyclingWarriors
5░   Tyson Walkins    20   60,50   DanishCyclingWarriors

HELPERS
6░   James Arata    20   59,52   DanishCyclingWarriors
7░   Andy Tierney    20   58,01   DanishCyclingWarriors
8░   Brent G.Cross    20   57,70   WeezerReload
9░   Earl Fagan    20   57,69   Betis WEATHER

A few riders was very close to be selected for this first race. Phil Gailes would maybe have been a good helper and 19 yo Daniel Granaman, who actually has a weather icon for this race was in my considerations, but decided to go with the above 9 riders. We have a very good generation of cobblestones riders. Though they are better on plain cobblestones.

Good luck to the 9 riders, lets hope Bass and Fevola or someone else makes in into the points tomorrow.

One weird result. Brent Cross with the lowest cobblestones came first of the americans, and so unlucky with Walkins that crashed on the last section - and Arata also very close to the points. But we got 3 riders in the points and are #3 overall. Good start. Hopefully Bass will do better on the flat cobblestones later in the season.

11    Brent G.Cross      20   a timer 0 minutter 25 sekunder    110      WeezerReload
13    Wendell Bass      20   a timer 0 minutter 25 sekunder    90      U21AMERICA
15    Joel Gailes      20   a timer 0 minutter 28 sekunder    70      DanishCyclingWarriors

21    Tyson Walkins      20   a timer 0 minutter 28 sekunder    0      DanishCyclingWarriors
24    James Arata      20   a timer 0 minutter 33 sekunder    0      DanishCyclingWarriors
39    Ben Fevola      20   a timer 0 minutter 45 sekunder    0      U21AMERICA
41    Andy Tierney      20   a timer 0 minutter 45 sekunder    0      DanishCyclingWarriors
50    Earl Fagan      20   a timer 0 minutter 48 sekunder    0      Betis
58    Mark Abolins      20   a timer 0 minutter 53 sekunder    0      U21AMERICA

Thanks, I'm trying my best. Last season we had a bad generation of riders, while it looks a bit better this season in a few categories. Some categories are though still very bad, and we wont score any points in those.

Just hope more teams will try to get americans through their scout. Last season I think only around 7 teams did that, and that is not a lot.

I'm in again! Thats a great system you came up with. Hopefully we'll see some better success from it this season.(and lets hope I don't forget when to draft again!) :(

If it's not to much trouble, maybe a quick reminder for forgetful guys like me when the draft stage is coming would be helpful? I forgot to draft twice last season out of the 4 times, so I pretty much wasted my time tracking riders...

Denmark did very good, and we did okay. Cook did what he could, and scored 140 points, while Fox with a huge surprise managed to finish 20th and got 10 points.

Another weekend is up, and this time we are not getting any points. I will be shocked if we get any. We have a very bad generation of climbers, especially with both downhill and flat.

The following 9 riders will race sunday:

CAPTAIN
1░   Nick Peacock   20   62,31   LaCala

FREE ROLE
2░   Eric Julich    20   60,84   Arizonians

HELPERS
3░   Gary Griffin    20   59,71   Iberus
4░   Tim O┤Rourke    20   58,42   SCyclingUSA
5░   Patrick Caland   20   57,47   escusaguas
6░   Frank McDonald    20   56,62   SCyclingUSA
7░   Denis Benson    20   56,13   US_POSTAL
8░   Os Lincoln   20   55,79   DZKteam
9░   Norman Caland    19   54,39   US_POSTAL

Do not expect any points this season or next season in any mountain stages. We are way behind already in this season.

As expected, a very bad result, but they are not better than this. Horrible generation, and next year it will be worse it looks like, if we are not getting any climbers soon.

48    Patrick Caland      20   a timer 1 minutter 50 sekunder    0      escusaguas
58    Nick Peacock      20   a timer 1 minutter 57 sekunder    0      LaCala
63    Eric Julich      20   a timer 2 minutter 1 sekunder    0      Arizonians
73    Tim O┤Rourke      20   a timer 2 minutter 6 sekunder    0      SCyclingUSA
82    Denis Benson      20   a timer 2 minutter 12 sekunder    0      US_POSTAL
89    Gary Griffin      20   a timer 2 minutter 14 sekunder    0      Iberus
92    Frank McDonald      20   a timer 2 minutter 14 sekunder    0      SCyclingUSA
115    Norman Caland      19   a timer 2 minutter 42 sekunder    0      US_POSTAL

We are getting ready for this seasons sprint. I think, that we will have a small chance for some points on sunday with Hoffman.

1░   Nate Hoffman   20   63,26   TeamGiacomo
2░   Seb Leipheimer    20   63,15   drogopropulsados
3░   Patrick Chambers    20   61,72   anti_dopping
4░   Freddie Hamilton   20   61,14   JoebaCycling
5░   Graham Embley    20   60,21   RealSociedad
6░   Angus Wolf    20   59,09   OrtoCycling
7░   Gordon Gilliam    19   57,68   loshombresdelmazo
8░   Don Aldrin    19   56,73   Igualada_Cycling_Team
9░   Ted Basinger   19   53,79   TeamGiacomo

Lets get even better in next season - right now we have around 4 19 yo sprinters that has potential. Only Shaun Mulvey will not be selected this time, because he has one big issue - Very very low stamina, but else he has all the right skills for a good sprinter.

150 points from Nate Hoffman. I'm fine with this result, but it could maybe have been better? I don't know.

7    Nate Hoffman      20   a timer 0 minutter 13 sekunder    150      TeamGiacomo

29    Patrick Chambers      20   a timer 0 minutter 31 sekunder    0      anti_dopping
36    Freddie Hamilton      20   a timer 0 minutter 31 sekunder    0      JoebaCycling
39    Graham Embley      20   a timer 0 minutter 31 sekunder    0      RealSociedad
75    Angus Wolf      20   a timer 0 minutter 48 sekunder    0      OrtoCycling
80    Gordon Gilliam      19   a timer 0 minutter 48 sekunder    0      loshombresdelmazo
89    Seb Leipheimer      20   a timer 1 minutter 5 sekunder    0      drogopropulsados
103    Don Aldrin      19   a timer 1 minutter 5 sekunder    0      Igualada_Cycling_Team
143    Ted Basinger      19   a timer 1 minutter 38 sekunder    0      TeamGiacomo

1║   SPAIN   1480
2║   HOLLAND 1355
3║   SWITZERLAND   915
4║   DENMARK   900
-
9║   USA   570

Next sunday it's a Time Trial - unfortunately we are a little bit worse than last season. The american team that had an almost full team in tt last season, apparently has not promoted any good ones this season :( My guess is Tyler Vince will compete around 10th, and it will surprise me if any other riders will be in top 20. But anything can happen. Sometimes we see weird results in TT.

Glad to see Nate Hoffman do well for the NT, I think he will be a future star for my team.

But what happened to Leipheimer? I thought he would do better, but he never seemed in the race...

Leipheimer has lower than 50 in flat, so i'm guessing that is the reason. His gv is higher than his real strength because of good sprint and other important sprint skills. The flat does bad things for him.

What do you think about Frank Cassidy in mountain and mountain-hills?

I think he will be selected, bcause we are very weak in those two categories.
